As cosmeceuticals founding scientist, Dr. Shaymaa Zaidan is a Molecular biologist, researcher, and a fine artist. Her passion and dedication for science and research promotes her to develop skincare solutions backed by research in molecular biology. The first sparkle was emerged at the laboratory, during her research work for her masters degree when she discovered new species of bacteria in 2012, she was shocked that there are many chemical ingredients that consider harmful to the skin and may cause inflammation were found in a number of skin cosmetics. She decided to develop skincare solutions backed by science and free of the harmful, toxic, and aggressive ingredients at the same time.

Dr. Zaidan translated her knowledge in science to formulate skincare with high concentration of active ingredients adhering to the strict law of the food and drug administration (FDA). after discovering new species of bacteria from the Red Sea in Jordan, she continued her research in science and achieved  certificates of achievements from Harvard Medical School in Genetics-Cancer Genomics- Precision Oncology, Immunology-Immuno-Oncology and Skin care and repair. She is a PhD candidate at the University of Texas, she was envolved in a reseach to develop a novel vaccine against the Mycobacterium tuberculosis ( A fragment-based approach to assess the ligandability of ArgB, ArgC, ArgD and ArgF in the L-arginine biosynthetic pathway of Mycobacterium tuberculosis
